SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Due to the current trends in the St. Joseph County, Indiana University South Bend athletics would like to remind everyone of the current spectator protocols at all Titan home events.

"As we head down the home stretch for our softball and baseball teams, I would ask that we have 100% compliance from our athletes and their families regarding mask wearing and social distancing," commented Athletic Director
Steve Bruce. "We CAN help make a difference in the continuation and completion of their seasons if we will come together as a TEAM...athletes, families, coaches, administrators, and make these small sacrifices to carry the task to completion. Let's finish strong, together!"
Everyone on the Indiana University South Bend campus is required to wear a face mask (must have ear loops per Indiana University Policy) over the nose and mouth at all times.
This includes when attending IUSB outdoor affiliate Athletic locations including: Newton Park, Harris Township Baseball Park, Veterans Memorial Park, John Adams High School and Leaper Park.
Face masks should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing. Spectators are asked to be mindful of social distancing and maintain at least six feet between themselves and other individuals or groups. Spectators who feel ill or who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are asked to stay home.
A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend baseball and softball home events. This includes family members of all current IUSB baseball and softball student-athletes ONLY. There will be a check-in table located at the entrance.
Spectators are permitted to sit with other family members ONLY. Each family unit is required to maintain at least six feet between other family units. The bleachers will be CLOSED on both the baseball and softball venues. Spectators are required to bring their own seats when attending.
IU South Bend athletics requires all spectators of Titan Athletics sporting events to adhere to the following protocols in an effort to ensure the health and safety of the IUSB community.
Thank you for your understanding, as the health and safety of our Titan community is our highest priority. Indiana University South Bend continues to evaluate the COVID-19 environment on a weekly basis and understands that this decision may need to rescind or modify spectator attendance at any time.
Indiana University South Bend has the right to remove any spectators that are not following the guidelines provided.
