DEERFIELD, Ill.- The IU South Bend Titans (0-11-0, 0-7-0 CCAC) fell to the Trinity International University Trojans (3-8-1, 2-5-0 CCAC) by a score of 9-1.
Indiana University South Bend was led by junior forward
Katie Jones, who took all five of the Titans shots. Jones scored her second goal of the season in the 44th minute to put IU South Bend on the board going into the half.
Trinity International forward Abigail Olsson started the scoring with back-to-back goals in the 2nd and 11th minute to give the Trojans the lead. Olsson completed the hat trick with a goal in the 62nd minute to give Trinity International a 6-1 lead. Three more second half goals by Trinity International propelled the Trojans to a 9-1 victory.
The IU South Bend Titans return to action on Friday, October 7th, as they take on the Cougars of Saint Xavier University at 12:00 PM.
