NOTRE DAME, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-12-1, 0-10-0 CCAC) fell to the Holy Cross College Saints (5-11-1, 3-7-1 CCAC) by a final score of 3-1.
Holy Cross got on the board less than two minutes into play when junior forward Jennifer Requeno scored on a goal assisted by Olivia Shaw to give the Saints an early 1-0 lead.
Later in the first half, senior midfielder Kassidi Puthoff scored a goal with an assist from Nicole Cook to extend the Holy Cross lead to 2-0.
The Saints continued scoring in the second half of play when freshman defender Abigail Fouts found the back of the net in the 48th minute to cap off the Holy Cross scoring and give the Saints a 3-0 lead.
IU South Bend got on the board in the 82nd minute of the CCAC contest when sophomore midfielder
Alessandro Lozano scored a goal to narrow the Titans deficit to 3-1. IUSB was blanked for the remainder of the contest, going on to lose 3-1.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans conclude their regular season on Saturday, October 28th, when they travel to Elgin, Ill. to take on Judson University at 1:00 PM
