FORT WAYNE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (23-9, 15-5 CCAC) fell to the Indiana Tech Warriors (28-4, 18-2 WHAC) by a score of 82-57.
Tuesday's loss concludes the season for the 2023 CCAC Tournament Champion Indiana University South Bend Titans.
The Titans offense featured four players record double figures, led by seniors
Donyell Meredith II and
Spencer Pettit who both finished with 14 points.
Spencer Pettit scored 14 points on 6-14 shooting from the field and two three point field goals in just 20 minutes of action to conclude his senior campaign.
Donyell Meredith II scored 14 points on 5-9 shooting and 3-4 from the free throw line.
Meredith's 14 points brings his season scoring total to 16.2 points per game, the highest of his collegiate career.
Next in line in scoring for the Titans was senior guard
Kenny Washington who finished with 11 points in 32 minutes of action.
With 11 points in Tuesday's contest, Washington surpassed the 1000 career point mark in his career at IU South Bend, finishing with a total of 1,010 points.
The last TItan to record double figures was junior forward
Dejon Barney who finished with 10 points on 5-11 shooting and three blocked shots. Barney finished two boards shy of his ninth double-double of the season by collecting eight rebounds.
