NOTRE DAME, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (2-1-1, 0-0-0 CCAC) lost to the Saint Mary's College Belles (1-1-0) by a score of 2-0. Wednesday's loss is the first of the season for IU South Bend in the 2023 campaign.
IU South Bend fell behind early when Saint Mary's sophomore Lauren Ryan found the back of the net in the ninth minute of the Wednesday night contest to give the Belles a 1-0 lead.

The Titans saw their best chances to score come just minutes before the half when senior forward
Katie Jones had shots on goal in the 41st and 44th minutes, both saved by Saint Mary's goalkeeper Caroline Miklavcic, leaving IU South Bend behind 2-0 after 45 minutes of play.
Saint Mary's and IUSB went on to play a scoreless second half, leaving the Titans on the losing end of the 2-0 affair.
