LAKEVILLE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (2-9-1, 1-5-0, CCAC) defeated the Calumet College of Saint Joseph Crimson Wave, (0-6-0, 0-6-0 CCAC) by a final score of 10-0 for their second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win of the season.
IU South Bend wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with three goals in the first 10 minutes from
Hayli Marsch,
Ava Gutyan, and
Olivia Enyeart to help the Titans jump put to an early 3-0 lead.
Ava Gutyan found the back of the net again in the 12th minute to further the IUSB lead.
The second half of play proved more of the same as IU South Bend poured on six more goals.
Olivia Enyeart scored multiple times and
Ava Gutyan scored once more to earn both Titans a hat trick in Saturday's conference match.
Other IU South Bend Titans to score in the second half included
Alyssa Brito and
Maddie Stark to help lead the Titans to a dominating 10-0 lead.
Both IUSB goalkeepers played 45 minutes of action without allowing a goal.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Tuesday, October 15th, when they travel to Palos Heights, Illinois to take on the Trolls of Trinity Christian College at 5:00 PM ET.
