The Student Activities Center (SAC) is a 23,000 square foot facility that offers a state-of-the-art fitness center; three-lane running track; three basketball court areas; two racquetball courts; group fitness room; full-service locker rooms; a student lounge, featuring billiards and table tennis; and the Courtside Café. There are also well-equipped meeting rooms; office areas for athletics, recreation, the SAC administration, student life, the Student Government Association, Titan Productions, and student publications; and space for clubs and organizations. All students, faculty, and staff are members of the SAC and are admitted to the SAC by presenting their valid IU South Bend ID card. ALUMNI AND COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP:
Alumni and community membership forms can be found at the SAC front desk during operating hours. Each type of membership comes with a nominal fee for the semester.

Any facility reservation requests need to be sent to Steve Bruce at stbruce@iu.edu. Please send in requests 14 days in advance to ensure processing time.

Participants should be aware of the possibilities of bodily injury and should understand that they are responsible for any and all costs arising out of injury or property damage sustained through participation. Should someone become injured, please notify a Shift Manager, Associate, or SAC Administrator for assistance.
