Evva Comans

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

After joining the IU South Bend program as a player during the 2007-2008 season, Evva Comans played just one year as a Titan before joining the coaching staff the following year. In that season, she was named to the CCAC All-Conference team. Her coaching duties with the Titans focus on post play, as Comans is heavily involved in player development.

As a player, Comans helped lead her Belgian Junior National Team to a fifth-place finish in the World Championships in Moscow, Russia in 2007. Prior to her stint with the Titans, Comans played three seasons at Valparaiso University.

Comans graduated from Valparaiso University in December of 2007 with a bachelor's degree in business, and later followed with a bachelor's degree in psychology from IU South Bend, completing that track in 2008. She is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Notre Dame.

In August of 2009, Comans was married to Chris Romick. They currently reside in South Bend, but she originally hails from Zonhoven, Belgium.
