Having led the men's tennis team through its inaugural season in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, Nick Simeri enters his fourth year as the head coach.

Simeri was born and raised in South Bend, IN, where he currently lives. Nick grew up on Sunnymede Ave, just a few blocks from both his high school and college alma maters. Graduating from John Adams in 2008, Simeri competed as a four year varsity tennis player and earned All-NIC First Team in doubles. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. Simeri graduated from IU South Bend with a 3.2 GPA and Dean’s List Honors for the 2014 Spring semester.

While attending school, Simeri coached as an Assistant Tennis Pro at the South Bend Racquet Club, as well as Knollwood Country Club. In 2016, Nick and his wife Jessica were hired as coaches to lead the Buddy Up Tennis Program for the South Bend area. With 20 locations nationwide, Buddy Up Tennis is a clinic where children and young adults with Down syndrome learn to play tennis.Â
