Box Score SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Riding its best start under head coach Steve Bruce in his 14th season at the helm, Indiana University South Bend women's basketball begins Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference this week with a pair of league contests. The Titans begin the week making a short trip to Holy Cross on Wednesday, Nov. 13 before hosting No. 24 Olivet Nazarene inside the Student Activities Center on Saturday, Nov. 16.

IU South Bend enters the week with a perfect overall record of 6-0 after going 3-0 last, which was highlighted by a 76-74 overtime victory over No. 22 Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday in South Bend. Junior Courtney Haynes led the Titans registering a double-double off a career-high 20 points and season-high 10 rebounds.
Senior Kyleigh Kubik leads the offense this season, averaging 11.3 points per game. Kubik's 15-for-31 shooting from behind the arc ranks fifth in the CCAC for percentage and 13th amongst NAIA Division II players in three-pointers made.
Sophomore forward Rachael Robards is the final Titan in double-figures with 10.0 points per game with 14 made threes this season, which is 27th in the country. Haynes has been dominating on the boards through her six games, averaging a team-high 6.3 rebounds while junior counterpart Taitlyn Trenshaw has dished out a team-high 25 assists. The guard currently sits in 10th amongst the country for her assists.
As a team, IUSB averages 75.3 points per game and holds its opponents to just 58.3 per game. The Titans shoot 48.6 percent from the field, having collected 52-of-120 attempts through six contests. IU South Bend has outrebounded its opponent by a slim 118-117 margin, averaging 32.7 per game.
The Titans have done most of its scoring in the second quarter, registering 121 of their 452 total points this season. IUSB lacks the scoring capabilities following the halftime, adding 97 points to its opponents 95.
The matchup at Holy Cross will be the 21st meeting overall as the Titans hold a 13-7 advantage. The Saints have won the last two meetings, outscoring IUSB 131-113 in those two contests. The Titans are 1-0 against ranked opponents this season and look to remain unbeaten on Saturday against No. 24 ONU. The Tigers hold the 5-22 advantage in the head-to-head, winning last time out on Jan. 16, 2019 by a score of 105-76 in Bourbonnais, Ill.
Following the week, IU South Bend travels to Judson University on Wednesday, Nov. 20 before hosting Governors State on Saturday, Nov. 23 for its final home contest of November.
