LAKEVILLE, Ind. – Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Paul finished with 12 saves as IU South Bend tried to keep the visiting Judson Eagles at bay, but the Titans would ultimately fall at Newton Park on Wednesday by a 6-0 margin.
The Titans (1-12, 1-9 CCAC) kept the visitors off the scoreboard for the first twenty minutes of play, before Judson (9-4-1, 7-2-1 CCAC) broke through with their first goal of the day. Another shot found the back of the net ten minutes later, and the Eagles would take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, IUSB generated a pair of opportunities, with a shot from Rebekkah Guess sailing wide in the 82nd minutes, and another attempt by Alyssa Macias in the 88th getting saved by the JU goalkeeper.
The Titans hit the road for their next two matches, beginning with a trip to Crown Point, Ind. to face IU Northwest. Kickoff with the Redhawks is set for Saturday, October 23, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
