KOKOMO, Ind. - Sophomore runner Cohl Fox led the Titans on Friday, as IU South Bend opened the cross country season at the IU Kokomo Cougar Classic.

Fox posted a time of 18:47.7 over the 5-kilometer course, earning an 11th-place result in the 30-man field.

On the women's side, Anabel Willingham secured a top-ten finish, crossing the line at 23:30.1 to place 9th overall.

The Titans are back in action on Friday, Sept. 10, when they take on the 8-kilometer Purdue-Northwest Classic, held in Westville, Ind.
