GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-4,1-1 CCAC) fell to Cornerstone University (7-1, 4-0 WHAC) by a score of 90-83.
All Titan starters reached double figures in Saturday's contest, led by Spencer Pettit who finished with 19 points on 5-8 shooting from the three point line.
Micah Poole tallied a season high of 15 points on 50% shooting from the field and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.
Other Titans in double figures include
Donyell Meredith II with 13 points,
Miles Tracy with 11 points, and
Kenny Washington with 10 points.
The Cornerstone University Golden Eagles also had all five starters reach double figures, led by Cory Ainsworth who finished with 20 points on 8-9 shooting from the field.
IU South Bend entered halftime with a nine point lead before being outscored by 16 points in the second half to ultimately lose by seven points.
Indiana University South Bend returns to action on Wednesday, November 30, as they travel to University Park, Ill., to take on Governors State University.
