KOKOMO, Ind.- The IU South Bend Titans fell behind early in the 11th minute of Saturday's contest and failed to comeback, ultimately falling to the IU Kokomo Cougars 6-0.
Goalkeeper
Kaitlin Paul had 14 saves in 72 minutes of action, but that was not enough to overcome a strong Cougars offense that blasted 54 shots on the day, 23 of them on goal. IU Kokomo featured a balanced attack that saw five different players score, led by Senior forward Keely Hoopingarner with two goals.
The Titans of IU South Bend had their best chance to score in the 32nd minute of the contest, but a shot by Freshman
Kylie Gorka was blocked before reaching the Cougars goalkeeper.
IU South Bend returns to action Wednesday, August 31st, at 4:00 PM on the road against Huntington University.
