PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (11-5, 8-2 CCAC) defeated the Trinity Christian College Trolls (6-9, 2-7 CCAC) by a score of 63-54. Saturday's win makes the Titans victorious in eight of their last nine games and also snaps a two game Trinity Christian Trolls winning streak.
The top performer for IU South Bend was junior forward
Dejon Barney, who finished with his second double-double of the 2022-2023 campaign. Barney scored 20 points on 9-17 shooting from the field while also securing 11 rebounds in the process.
Senior forward
Miles Tracy also reached double-double status by scoring 11 points on 50% shooting from the field and hauling in 10 rebounds, six on defense and four on offense.
Donyell Meredith II continued to thrive in all aspects of the game as he flirted with triple-double status by scoring 14 points, collecting eight rebounds, and dishing out seven assists. 14 points from Meredith II marks his 15th game this season scoring double figures.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wedmesday, January 11th, when they take on Saint Xavier University at 7:00 PM, looking to avenge their worst loss of the season.
