DAVENPORT, IA.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (5-21, 5-8 CCAC) lost to the Saint Ambrose University Fighting Bees (15-14, 9-4 CCAC) in four sets by scores of 25-21, 13-25, 21-25, and 18-25.
The IU South Bend offense featured two hitters to record double digit kills, led by senior hitter
Abby Seeger who finished with a team high 13 kills. Defensively, Seeger also posted three blocks, maintaining her CCAC lead in blocks per set as the only player in the conference who averages a block each set.
The other Titan to record double digit kills was junior hitter
Ryleigh Grott, who finished with 10 kills in the four set loss.
The IU South Bend passing game included two Titans to record double digit assists.
Both
Emma Knowlton and
Brynn Lake ended Saturday's contest with 14 assists.
Defensive specialist
Sydney Hanna anchored the IUSB defense, leading the team with 20 digs. Saturday marks the ninth time this season that Hanna has recorded at least 20 digs.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Thursday, November 2nd, when they travel to Chicago, Ill., for a contest against the Roosevelt University Lakers at 8:00 PM to conclude the regular season.
