GOSHEN, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-2, 0-0 CCAC) defeated the Goshen College Maple Leafs (0-5, 0-0 CRC) by a final score of 71-50.

Wednesday's win gets the Titans back over .500 as they prepare to gear up for the beginning of conference play at the start of next week. 

Outscoring the Maple Leafs by at least 10 points in both halves, the IU South Bend offense featured three scorers to record double figures, led by senior forward Dejon Barney who finished with a team high 16 points. 

Barney's 16 points came on 50% shooting from the field while also hauling in 11 rebounds, good for his second consecutive double-double and third in just five games this season. 

Junior forward Jylen Petty was next in the scoring column, finishing with 12 points, marking his fourth game this season in which he has recorded double figures. 

Petty's 12 point came on 4-9 shooting from the field and 50% from beyond the three point line. 

The last Titan to record double figures was junior guard Quentez Columbus who finished with 10 points in just 19 minutes of action. 

Forward Nick Mullen led IU South Bend on the glass, finishing with a career high 12 rebounds. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, November 18th, when they host Shawnee State University at 3:00 PM in the Student Activities Center before the start of conference play on Tuesday, November 21st against Indiana University Northwest.
