SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (5-3, 2-0 CCAC) defeated the Holy Cross College Saints (3-5, 0-3 CCAC) by a final score of 42-41.
A low scoring affair saw the Titans down as much as 10 points in the first half, trailing 14-4 IU South Bend went on six point run to cut the deficit to 14-10 with just under six minutes left in the first half.
Holy Cross closed the first half on a 10-7 spurt to take a 24-17 lead heading into halftime.
The Titans came out of the half firing on all cylinders, opening with a 17-3 run to take a 34-27 lead halfway through the second half.
Still the Saints answered back, taking a 41-38 lead with under two minutes to play in the game.

Sam Snodgrass cut the Holy Cross lead to just one point with under one minute left in regulation before a buzzer beating driving layup by junior guard
Quentez Columbus secured the 42-41 victory for the Titans.
IU South Bend was led in scoring by senior forward
Dejon Barney who finished with 12 points and six rebounds on better than 50% shooting from the field.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Friday, December 1st, when they host the Waldorf College Warriors at 7:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
