SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (6-3, 2-0 CCAC) defeated the Waldorf University Warriors (2-6, 0-0 HOA) by a final score of 76-61. Friday's win improves the Titans to 6-3 and makes them winners in their last three contests.
A well balanced IU South Bend offense featured five different players to score in double figures, led by
Terry Ford and
Dejon Barney who both tied for a game high with 17 points.
Ford's IUSB career high 17 points came on just under 50% shooting from the field while knocking down three of the four free throws that he attempted.
Barney's 17 points came 7-14 shooting from the field while also securing a team high seven rebounds.
The next Titan to score in double figures was junior forward
Jylen Petty who finished with 12 points.
Petty's 12 points came on just one missed field goal while shooting a perfect 100% from the free throw line.
Junior guard
Quentez Columbus finished with 11 points in Friday's win, good for his sixth game this season scoring double digit points.
The last IU South Bend Titan to score at least 10 points was
Micah Poole, who finished with 10 points.
Poole's 10 points came on better than 50% shooting from the field, marking his fifth contest this season with at least 10 points.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, December 6th, when they host the Trolls of Trinity Christian College at 7:30 PM in the Student Activities Center.
