ELGIN, Ill.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (5-23, 5-9 CCAC) fell on the road to the Judson University Eagles (22-3, 14-1 CCAC) in three sets by final scores 9-25, 16-25, and 23-25 to conclude the 2023 season.
The IU South Bend offense was led by junior outside hitter
Macy Sherman who finished with a game high six kills while
Ryleigh Grott and
Taylor Hostetler finished just behind Sherman with five kills.
Both Titans setters concluded Tuesday's CCAC Quarterfinal with double digit assists, with sophomore
Emma Knowlton leading the passing game with 11 assists while freshman setter
Brynn Lake finished just behind Knowlton with 10 assists.
Defensive specialist
Sydney Hanna led the charge on defense, finishing the game with 17 digs while
Abby Weber also posted double digit digs, tallying 10 over three sets.
Both
Felisha Campanello and
Macy Sherman contributed service aces in Tuesday's season finale.
