Titans defeat Trinity Christian 82-68

SOUTH BEND, Ind- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (7-3, 3-0 CCAC) defeated the Trinity Christian College Trolls (2-5, 0-3 CCAC) by a final score of 82-68.

Wednesday's win marks the fourth consecutive victory for the IU South Bend Titans. 

The IU South Bend offense featured three different scorers to score in double figures, led by senior forward Dejon Barney who led the Titans with 23 points. 

Barney's 23 points came on better than 70% shooting while knocking down three of the five free throws that he attempted. 

Barney also secured 10 rebounds, good for his seventh double-double of the season. 

The next Titan to score in double figures was guard Micah Poole who finished with 15 points. 

Poole's 15 points came on 5-8 shooting from the field while making three of the four free throws that he attempted. 

15 points marks Poole's season high and his sixth game this season scoring double figures. 

The last Titan to score in double figures was junior guard Quentez Columbus who finished with 14 points. 

Columbus' 14 points came on four three point field goals while shooting perfect from the free throw line. 

With 14 points Columbus now has seven games this season scoring in double figures. 

The IU South Bend defense was led forward Nick Mullen who broke an IU South Bend record with seven blocks in Wednesday's win. 

Mullen has now blocked 13 shots in his last two games. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, December 9th, when they host the Fighting Saints of Saint Francis at 3:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
