SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (10-3, 5-0 CCAC) defeated the Siena Heights University Saints (5-6, 2-4 WHAC) by a final score of 65-47.
Thursday's win extends the Titans winning streak to seven straight games as they concluded non-conference play with tonight's win.
IU South Bend featured two players to score in double figures in the 65-47 victory, led by senior forward
Dejon Barney who finished with a game high 23 points.
Barney's 23 points came on better than 64% shooting from the field (9-14) while shooting a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line.
Barney's 23 points moves him into sole possession of fourth place in scoring in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference at better than 17 points per game while still holding the conference lead in rebounds at 9.4 rebounds per game.
The other IU South Bend Titan to score in double figures was
Terry Ford who finished with 12 points.
Ford's 12 points came on 50% shooting from the field (4-8) while knocking down a season high four free throw attempts.
Ford's 12 points marks the third game this year in which he has scored in double figures.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, January 6th, when they host the Crimson Wave of the Calumet College of Saint Joseph at 3:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
