SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (18-7, 13-4 CCAC) defeated the Calumet College of St. Joseph Crimson Wave (6-14, 6-12 CCAC) by a score of 80-59.
IU South Bend featured three players to record double digits in the scoring column, led by
Donyell Meredith II who finished with 24 points while shooting better than 50 percent from both the field and the three point line.
With 24 points in Wednesday's victory, Meredith II has scored over 20 points six times this season. Meredith II also flirted with triple-double status in the process, finishing with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Junior forward
Dejon Barney continued to be a force inside, recording his fourth double-double in his last six games. Barney finished with 17 points on 6-11 shooting from the field while knocking down five of the six free throws he attempted.
With under two weeks left in the regular season, Barney leads the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference in field goal percentage at 62.6 percent and sits third in the conference in rebounds per game with 8.8.
Senior forward
Miles Tracy was the final Titan to reach double figures, reaching double-double status for the second time this season by scoring 14 points and hauling in 10 rebounds.
With 14 points in Wednesday's victory of Calumet College, Tracy has reached double figures in 12 of the Titans 25 games this season.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, February 11th, when they travel to Deerfield, Ill., to take on the Trinity International University Trojans at 4:00 PM ET.
