GRANGER, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (20-23, 14-10 CCAC) dropped game three of the series against the University of Saint Francis Fighting Saints (21-24, 16-8 CCAC) by a score of 19-7.

IU South Bend got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning when center fielder Owen Benson's suicide squeeze scored Brett Sikorski to give the Titans a 1-0 lead.

Second baseman Brenden Bell homered to left field with two outs in the bottom of the third to extend the IU South Bend lead to 2-0.

Saint Francis responded in the top of the fourth with six runs on seven hits to take a 6-2 lead.

IU South Bend right fielder Kole Miller hit a solo homerun to left field to cut the Titans deficit to 6-3.

The Fighting Saints broke the game open, scoring four runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth to take a 13-3 lead.

An RBI single by Brett Sikorski and an RBI fielder's choice by Josiah Nelson each plated a run for the Titans, bringing them within eight runs of Saint Francis.

Saint Francis tacked on one more in the top of the seventh before the Titans scored two of their own in the bottom of the frame, thanks to an RBI double by Brenden Bell and a groundout by Kole Miller.

The Fighting Saints scored five more times in the top half of the eighth inning to end the game in eight innings with IU South Bend losing 19-7.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Friday, April 28th, when they travel to Chicago, Ill. for a single nine inning game against the Lakers of Roosevelt University.
