LAKEVILLE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (2-0-1, 0-0-0 CCAC) concluded Wednesday's home opener in a 0-0 tie with the Huntington University Foresters (1-1-1). 

Forwards Haylie Rodriguez and Cassidy Ryan had the shots on goal for IU South Bend, coming in the 9th, 52nd, and 84th minutes. Junior Huntington goalkeeper Ireland Aerni was able to knock all three shots away in order to keep the Titans off the board in the contest. 

Freshman IU South Bend goalkeeper Rylee Cotton saved all 14 shots the Foresters were able to put on goal to keep the contest at a 0-0 tie. 

IU South Bend threatened in the final minute when senior forward Katie Jones appeared to have a breakaway before the Huntington defense knocked the ball out of bounce to kill the potential IUSB threat and keep the game knotted at 0-0. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, September 6th, when they travel across town to take on Saint Mary's College at 7:00 PM.
