SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (2-1, 0-0 CCAC) won their second straight game over Alma College (0-1, 0-0 Conf.) by a final score of 100-59.
Tied at 7-7 early in the first half, IU South Bend went on a 16-3 run to separate themselves from Alma.
More dominance from the Titans allowed them to go into halftime with a 30 point differential, leading Alma 58-28.
IU South Bend kept their foot on the gas pedal, outscoring the Scots by 11 in the second half to help earn themselves a lopsided 100-59 victory over Alma College.
A very well balanced IUSB offense featured six different Titans to score in double figures, led by forward
Jylen Petty who finished with a game high 19 points.
Petty's 19 points came on an efficient 7-9 shooting day from the field as well as a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arc.
Another Titan to score in double figures was sophomore guard
Andrew Hedgepeth, who finished with 13 points.
Hedgepeth's 13 points came on better than 70 percent shooting while also knocking down three triples.
Quentez Columbus,
Shawn Brown,
Kyle Olagbegi, and
Deshon Burnett all finished Saturday's contest with 11 points.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, November 9th, when they travel across town to take on the Pilots of Bethel University at 7:00 PM ET.
