FORT WAYNE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-6, 0-0 CCAC) dropped both matches of their doubleheader in Fort Wayne, Ind., to conclude the Onset Invitational, falling in the first match in three sets to Talladega College (1-2) by final scores of 21-25, 16-25, and 19-25.

IU South Bend then fell in match two to Campbellsville University (3-5) by final scores of 10-25, 12-25, and 16-25. 

In set one of match one, IUSB fell in a hole, trailing as late as 22-14 before rattling off  five straight points to bring the set within three. The Tornadoes won the next three points to take set one, followed by 25-16 and 25-19 victories in the remaining set to the the match against the Titans. 

Match two was no friendlier to IU South Bend as the Titans fell by double digits in the first two sets before jumping out to an early 9-7 lead in match three. Campbellsville then went on to win ten of the next eleven points to stop the IUSB run and ultimately take set three 25-19. 

The IU South Bend offense was led by hitters Taylor Hostetler and Audrey Buis who both finished with double digits kills on the day, Hostetler with 14 and Buis with 10. 

The Titans passing game was again led by sophomore setter Brynn Lake who wrapped up the doubleheader with 29 assists, 12 in game one and 17 in game two while Sydney Hanna anchored the IUSB defense with a team high 29 digs. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Friday, August 30th, when they play two matches in Upland, Ind. The Titans take on Huntington University at 1:30 PM ET before concluding the day with another match against Concordia University at 4:00 PM ET.
