LAKEVILLE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-2-0) dropped their home opening match to the Anderson University Ravens (1-0-0) by a final score of 3-2. 

Anderson University broke the tie early on Saturday when senior forward Lauren found the back of the net in the 8th minute to give the Ravens a 1-0 lead. 

IU South Bend answered in the 23rd minute when freshman midfielder Joslyn Miller scored in her first ever collegoate game to knot the score at 1-1 in the first period. 

The Lady Ravens broke the tie minutes before the conclusion of the first half when sophomore forward Kennedy Hurst scored an unassisted goal in the 40th minute to give Anderson a 2-1 advantage. 

The second half remained scoreless until the 75th minute when freshman midfielder Marta Stender found the back of the net to extend the Ravens lead to 3-1. 

The Titans pulled closer in the 80th minute of action when junior forward Haylie Rodriguez scored a goal assisted by Olivia Enyeart to pull IU South Bend within one. IUSB could not score again and dropped the home opener by a final score of 3-2. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Tuesday, September 3rd, when they host Manchester University at Newton Park at 5:00 PM ET.
