LAKEVILLE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-2-1) tied their home non-conference match up against the Manchester University Spartans (0-1-1) by a final score of 1-1.
IU South Bend and Manchester concluded the first half of play knotted at 0-0 with the Titans out shooting the Spartans 6-4 with neither team scoring a goal.
The Manchester Spartans struck first in the second half when Grace Papazoglou found the back of the net on an unassisted goal to give the Spartans a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute.
Indiana University South Bend did not take long to strike back, the Titans scored in the 65th minute when freshman
Olivia Enyeart scored her first collegiate goal assisted by
Haylie Rodriguez to tie the game at 1-1.
IU South Bend out shot the Spartans 14-10 in the tied match although Manchester attempted two more shots on goal.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, September 7th, at 6:00 PM ET at home at Newton Park when they host the Indiana University Purdue University Columbus Pride.
