SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (1-20, 1-4 CCAC) fell in their final non-conference game to the Indiana University Kokomo Cougars (15-4, 3-0 RSC) by final scores of 20-25, 17-25, and 16-25.
Set one proved to be the closest set of Friday's non-conference game with IU South Bend leading as late as 17-16 before the Cougars of IU Kokomo scored nine of the final 12 points to run away with set one by a final score of 25-20.
IUSB fell behind early in set two, trailing 7-3. IU Kokomo kept up their intensity leading by as much as 10 points, the Titans could not get a hold of the lead and ultimately dropped set two by a final score of 25-17.
Jumping out to a 4-1 lead, IU South Bend could not keep control of the momentum with the Cougars of IU Kokomo taking a 10-9 lead midway through the third set. The Titans then tied the set at 13-13 before IUK rattled off 12 of the next 15 points to become victorious, winning set three by a final score of 25-16.

Audrey Buis, Sherman finishing with seven kills while Buis fell just behind with six kills. Setter
Brynn Lake led the passing game with 20 assists while defensive specialist
Sydney Hanna finished with a game high 21 digs.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Thursday, October 3rd, when they travel to Whiting, Ind., to take on the Crimson Wave of Calumet College of St. Joseph at 8:00 PM ET.
