Focus on Friday After Loss to Top-Seeded Saint Xavier

CROWN POINT, Ind. --- IU South Bend faced the top-seeded Saint Xavier Cougars on Thursday evening in the CCAC Tournament upper bracket, falling 19-0 at the Crown Point Sportsplex.

Saint Xavier capitalized early and built momentum through a pair of multi-run innings to secure the win.

Jaylah Harlan recorded a hit in the first inning, and Peyton Norman added a single as the Titans managed two hits against Saint Xavier.

Despite the setback, IU South Bend remains in the hunt.

The Titans will return to action Friday at 2:00 p.m. ET against No. 2 seed St. Francis. The winner of that contest will advance to the CCAC Championship game and secure the conference's second automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.

With postseason stakes on the line, IU South Bend will look to regroup and respond in the elimination bracket.
