Indiana University South Bend

Chris Woodruff enters his first season as an assistant coach at Indiana University South Bend where he will be responsible for working with hitters, outfielders, and coaching first base. Chris comes to IU South Bend after a successful playing career at Holy Cross College (IN), where he played for current IU South Bend head coach Mike Huling. At Holy Cross, Chris was named 1st Team All-Chicago Land Conference his senior season (2015) where he hit .331. Prior to Holy Cross, Chris spent two seasons at Glen Oaks Community College. During his sophomore year at GOCC, Woodruff hit .312 with two doubles, a triple, six RBI's, and 20 runs scored. Chris prepped at Adams High School in South Bend, IN where he participated in baseball and football.

Woodruff earned his bachelor's degree from Holy Cross College.
