Jackson Krueger


Krueger is starting his first season as a Student Assistant Coach with the IU South Bend Baseball program. He has been a pitcher for the Titans for the past four years and hails from Northwest Indiana, graduating from Lake Central High School in 2020. Last summer, he served as the pitching coach for the South Bend Cubs 17u travel team. Krueger will graduate from IUSB this spring with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

 

Krueger was part of the 2021 IUSB team that set a program record with 19 conference wins and 24 wins overall. Additionally, he was part of the 2023 CCAC runner-up team that set program records in 10 different pitching categories, including ERA, WHIP, Saves, Hits, Runs, Walks, Doubles, Triples, Opponent Batting Average, and Wild Pitches.

 

Aside from playing at IUSB, Krueger pitched for the Cortland Crush (NYCBL: New York Collegiate Baseball League) and was part of their 2021 summer championship. He also joined the Kalamazoo Growlers (Northwoods League) later that summer and spent the summer of 2022 pitching for the Kokomo Jackrabbits (Northwoods League).
