Indiana University South Bend

Tyler Leighton is in his first year as a recruiting assistant for the Indiana University South Bend men's basketball program. Leighton, a 2010 graduate of IU South Bend had a stellar two-year career for the Titans, scoring 1,186 points including 675 in his final season.

In 2009, Leighton was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year while being a second team National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American selection, the first All-American selection in IU South Bend men's basketball history.

After his career with the Titans, Leighton played professionally for one season in China before returning to the States and entering the coaching ranks. During the 2011-12, Tyler served as a graduate assistant at Valparaiso University where he helped the Crusaders qualify for the National Invitational Tournament.
