Bayley Goodman enters her first year with IU South Bend during the 2020-21 athletic season. Goodman serves as the Sports Information Assistant along with the IUSB women’s basketball graduate assistant.
Prior to her time in South Bend, Goodman graduated from Purdue University Northwest in May 2020 with a Bachelors in Marketing.
During her playing years at PNW, the Fowler, Ind. native was a point/shooting guard on the women’s basketball team. In her junior year, Goodman contributed seven of the team's 18 three pointers to set the school record for most threes made in a game. She also led the team during her senior campaign in free throw percentage (88%) and three point percentage (40%) during conference play.
Goodman also worked as a sports information assistant with the Pride, leading all graphic design initiatives and game day operations including the production of live streaming of PNW home events. Goodman wrote event recaps and highlighted articles for the PNW’s athletic website while also updating and maintaining the Pride’s athletic website.
During her time at Purdue Northwest Goodman was a member of the executive board of the student athlete advisory committee (SAAC), holding the role of social media chair in which she was in charge of the three social media outlets used by SAAC.
Goodman is currently pursuing her masters in communication at IU South Bend. Â
