JOLIET, Ill. – The Indiana University South Bend volleyball team earned a 3-1 triumph at St. Francis Thursday night, March 11, for its second consecutive victory. With the win, the Titans moved to 5-2 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The Titans dropped the first set 25-22, before winning three straight sets to win the match, 3-1. IUSB cruised to a 25-11 win in the second to even the match at one apiece. After pulling out a 25-17 win in the third frame, the Titans carried the momentum into the fourth for a 25-23 nail-biter, capped by a match-ending kill by senior
Hannah Marchand.
IU South Bend put together one of its finest performances of the season against the Fighting Saints, hitting 53 kills off a .183 clip. Defensively, the Titans totaled a season-high 108 digs and seven blocks.
Marchand paced the balanced effort that saw four Titans with six-or-more kills. Marchand led the way with a game-high 18 on a .220 clip, while senior counterpart
Alexis Issette chipped in a season-high 13 kills. Junior transfer Amber Jacob added 21 digs to go along with nine kills.

McKenzie Powell notched a match-best 38 assists, along with two aces and a block. Marchand added five block assists while Jacobs registered two and freshman
Alexis Joyner added three to go along with six kills.
The Titans remain on the road tomorrow night, March 12, for a CCAC matchup at IU Northwest. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. (ET).
