PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Indiana University South Bend volleyball team dropped its second straight game on the road against Trinity Christian Thursday night, March 25. With the loss, the Titans are now 9-5 on the season and 4-4 on the road.

After sweeping the Trolls at home back on March 4, the reigning Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament champions defeated the Titans in three sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-16). As a team, IUSB attacked at a .211 clip while the Trolls notched a .339 attacking percentage.
The Trolls held the advantage in every category, including kills (52-36), assists (50-35), digs (52-46), blocks (6-5) and aces (5-1).
Senior
Julie Brown led the attack with a game-high 13 kills while senior counterpart
Hannah Marchand added eight. Junior
McKenzie Powell led the team with 33 assists to go along with seven digs.
Whitney Gessinger collected the team-high 11 digs while Marchand was the other Titan in double-digits with 10.
The Titans attacked at their best in the first set, knocking 16 kills off 44 attempts before registering just a .062 and .182 clip in the second and third frames.
IUSB returns home, where its 5-1 overall this season, hosting Cardinal Stritch inside the
Student Activities Center on Saturday, March 27 at 3 p.m. EST.
