GRANGER, Ind. - The Indiana University South Bend baseball team completed the series sweep of Calumet College of St. Joseph Monday evening, March 29, with a 11-1 run-rule victory at Rex Weade Stadium.
Moving to 10-13 on the season and 6-3 during Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, the Titans are now winners of their last four outings.

For the third consecutive game, Indiana University South Bend registered double-digit hits, as the Titans' 11 runs came on 13 hits. Senior
Logan Young finished the day 3-for-4 with two RBIs, including the final run of the game off an RBI single down the middle.
Jordan Moore,
Jared Bais, Jake VanderWoude and
Colin Mack all notched two hits apiece, while Mack added two RBIs.
IU South Bend took control from the onset, scoring three in the first frame. After a leadoff walk, senior Young singled and a pass ball moved the runners to second and third for senior
TJ DeHerrera. A ground out by DeHerrera got the Titans on the board. A Moore and Bais RBI single finished off the inning for the Titans.
The Titans doubled their lead in the second, adding three runs in the next inning. In the second, Young collected a sacrifice fly as VanderWoude scored before a wild pitch made way for short stop Mack to score. DeHerrera ended the run total with an RBI triple to right center as
Logan Smith scored to put the score at 6-0, IUSB.
Junior
Tyler Welborn's double down the left field line added two insurance runs in the fifth to put the Crimson and Cream up 8-0.
Calumet St. Joseph pushed a run in the sixth before the Titans sealed its second straight run-rule victory with three in the seventh.
On the mound, transfer
Bryson Taylor (3-2) threw a six-inning shutout win, allowing two hits and struck out four. Sophomore
Ian Glogovsky pitched an inning to close it out that saw two hits and one run.
IUSB remains home for a nine-inning CCAC clash with Judson University at Rex Weade Stadium Wednesday, March 31 before hosting St. Francis on Friday, April 2, to begin the weekend series with the Fighting Saints.
