GRANGER, Ind. - The Indiana University South Bend baseball team suffered a pair of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference losses to Olivet Nazarene Friday, April 9. IUSB fell by score of 3-2 and 8-4, as the Titans' record dipped to 13-17 on the season and 9-6 in league play.

Game One: ONU 3, IUSB 2
The Titans tallied six hits in the first game, out-hitting the Tigers 6-3. Junior transfer
Nolan Unger led the offense with two hits. The center fielder went 2-for-3 with one RBI while senior
Logan Young tallied the other RBI for the Crimson and Cream. Senior

Scott Stetz added the other hits on Friday.
IU South Bend jumped out to a 2-0 lead, adding runs in the second and third top halves. Stetz got the second inning started with a two-out single. Unger followed with an RBI single through the right side that got the Titans on the board.
Logan Smith got things started back up in the next frame, drawing a two-out walk and tacked on the last run for the Titans. Young knocked an RBI single through the left side, pushing the lead to 2-0.
Sophomore
Robbie Berger started the game strong on the mound, allowing just one hit through four complete innings. Olivet Nazarene did its damage in the bottom of the fifth, adding its three runs off two hits and one IUSB error. Berger suffered the loss after going the complete 6.0 innings, delivering six strike outs.
Game Two: ONU 8, IUSB 4
Olivet Nazarene took the lead in the second on an RBI single and added two more runs in the fifth to take a 3-0 lead into the sixth. After two scoreless innings from both sides, the Tigers added one run in the top of the eighth.
With ONU in front 4-0, the Titans cut the deficit in half with two runs off two hits and two Tiger miscues.
Austin Ver Wey reached on an error and pinch runner
Jake Dykstra was brought home by Mack's RBI single. Mack eventually would score after DeHerrera grounded out to the first baseman.
After giving up four runs in the top of the ninth, IUSB's rally in the bottom half inning came up short. The Titans got back two runs off the Tiger relief pitcher but suffered their fourth consecutive loss.
Sophomore
Zack Dobos was handed the setback after tossing 6.0 innings, giving up three runs off eight hits to go along with six strike outs.
IUSB and ONU finish up the season series Monday, April 12 in Bourbonnais, Ill. for a single nine-inning game beginning at 12 p.m.
