Five Titans reach double figures in 39 point victory over Judson

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (12-1, 6-1 CCAC) defeated the Judson University Eagles (3-9, 2-5 CCAC) by a score of 91-52. Saturday's victory gives the Titans 11 wins in their first 12 games to begin the season. 

A well balanced IU South Bend offense featured five players in double figures, led by Rachael Robards who finished Saturday's contest with 19 points on 7-11 shooting from the field including 5-9 from beyond the three point line. Robards' 19 points on Saturday leaves her just seven points shy of surpassing 1,000 points in her career at IUSB. 

Next in line in scoring for the Titans was Tia Chambers, who reached double-double status with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Chambers shot 5-9 from the field while knocking down all six of her free throw attempts. 

Senior guard Katie Gard finished with 14 points on 5-11 shooting while knocking down all four of her free throw attempts. Gard's 14 points on Saturday leave her 14 points shy of becoming a 1,000 point scorer in her career as an IU South Bend Titan. 

Another Titan in double figures included Jazmen Watts who finished with 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. 

The fifth and final IU South Bend Titan to reach double figures was Maddie Gard who finished with 10 points on an efficient 5-7 shooting performance in only 20 minutes of action. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Tuesday, December 20th, at 5:30 PM when they take on Holy Cross College (Ind.) for the second time this season. The Titans bested Holy Cross by a score of 85-37 on November 9th, to begin CCAC play.
