GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (5-0, 0-0 CCAC) defeated the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines (1-3, 0-0 WHAC) by a final score of 98-50.
The Titan offense featured five different Titans to score in double figures, led by senior guard
Maddie Gard who finished with a game high 24 points.
Gard's 24 points came on an efficient 75% shooting from the field while knocking down a season high eight of nine free throws.
Gard also hauled in seven rebounds while playing in just 20 minutes of action.
Next in line in scoring was
Katie Gard, who finished with 19 points.
Gard's 19 points came on better than 50% shooting from the field while also knocking down two three point field goals as well as five of the six free throws that she attempted.
Senior guard
Jazmen Watts finished with 14 points while not missing a three pointer and knocking down five of the seven free throws that she attempted.
Junior forward
Tenleigh Phelps was next in line in scoring for Titans, finishing with 13 points.
Phelps' 13 points came on 5-7 shooting from the field for her fifth consecutive game scoring double figures to begin the season.
The last Titan to score in double figures was freshman guard
Lizzie Graham who finished with a career high 11 points.
Graham's 11 points came came on 50% shooting from the field while knocking down three of the four three point field goals that she attempted.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, November 15th, when they host the Pilots of Bethel University at 5:30 PM in the Student Activities Center.
