CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-0, 0-0 CCAC) defeated the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers (1-1, 0-0) by a final score of 109-74.
The IU South Bend offense featured four different Titans to record double digit points, led by senior guard
Jazmen Watts who finished Saturday's contest with a career high 25 points.
Watts' 25 points came on 10-11 shooting from the field while knocking down all five three point field goals that she attempted.
The next Titan to reach double figures in the scoring column was junior forward
Tenleigh Phelps who finished the game with 23 points.
Phelps' 23 points came on 9-13 shooting from the field whole knocking down four of the six free throws that she attempted.
Guard
Maddie Gard ended the game with 16 points, her third consecutive contest scoring double digits to begin the season.
Gard's 16 points came on better than 50% shooting from the field while playing in a team high 30 minutes.
The final Titan to record double digit scoring figures was freshman center
Ashlee Schram who finished the game with 11 points.
Schram's 11 points came on three of five shooting from the field while tying for a team high in free throws made with five.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Monday, November 6th, when they host the Saints of Siena Heights University at 7:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
