UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (11-0, 5-0 CCAC) defeated the Governors State University Jaguars (9-3, 5-1 CCAC) by a final score of 69-63.
Saturday's win moves the Titans into sole possession of first place in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and also breaks a school record for consecutive wins to begin a season with 11, breaking last year's record.
The Titans were led by
Tenleigh Phelps who lead all scorers with 25 points while also collecting the second most rebounds in Saturday's contest with eight.
Phelps' 25 points came on 75% shooting from the field to improve her CCAC points per game average to better than 20 points per game game and also her conference leading field goal percentage to more tham 63% shooting from the field.
The second Titan to score in double figures was fifth year senior
Maddie Gard.
Gard finished with 18 points on 6-9 shooting from the field while also shooting 6-7 from the free throw line.

Emma Fisher finished one point of double-double status, recording 11 rebounds and nine points while shooting 50% from the field.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Monday, December 18th, when they travel to Mount Vernon University to take on the Cougars at 1:00 PM.
