ADRIAN, Mich.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-0, 0-0 CCAC) won their third consecutive game against the Siena Heights University Saints (2-2, 1-0 Conf.) by a final score of 69-54.
The IU South Bend Titans jumped out to an early 11-5 lead in the first quarter, outscoring the Saints by two in the opening period.
IUSB went on to win the second and third quarters as well, taking a 57-40 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Titans were outscored by two points in the fourth quarter, but still defeated Siena Heights University by a final score of 69-54.
The IU South Bend offense featured three different players to score in double figures, led by
Jazmen Watts who finished with a game high 22 points.
Watts' 22 points came on nearly 60% shooting from the field while also knocking down five of the seven free throws that she attempted.
The next Titan to score in double figures was
Tenleigh Phelps who finished with 17 points.
Phelps' 17 points came on 50% from the field and the three point line while also contributing eight rebounds.
The last Titan to score in double figures was senior guard
Sullivan Kessler who finished with 10 points.
Kessler also added in five rebounds while playing in a team high 31 minutes of action.
The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, November 13th, when travel across town to take on the Bethel University Pilots at 5:30 PM ET.
