RICHMOND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-17, 0-2 CCAC) lost their match against the Indiana University East Red Wolves (10-5, 0-0 Conf.) in four sets by scores of 19-25, 11-25, 25-22, and 17-25. 

The Titans fell behind early in set one with the Red Wolves scoring six of the first seven points to take a quick lead. IU South Bend trailed the entire set and ultimately fell in set one 25-19. 

Tied at 6-6 in set two, IU East took the lead with the next point and never trailed again, scoring the final nine points to take set two by a final score of 25-11. 

IUSB jumped out to a 7-4 lead in set three before the Red Wolves came storming back to tie the game at 11-11. IU East then took an 18-15 lead before the Titans came back, scoring six of the final seven points to win set three 25-22. 

Trailing by just three at 14-11 IU South Bend remained within striking distance until the Red Wolves rattled off six of the next seven points to take a 20-12 lead. IUSB could not mount a comeback and dropped set four by a final score of 25-17. 

The IU South Bend offense was led by Madison Figg and Audrey Buis who each finished with 10 kills while setter Brynn Lake led the passing game with 28 assists. Sydney Hanna and Brynn Lake both finished with double digit digs, Hanna with 18 and Lake with 10 to anchor the defense. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Friday, September 20th, when they travel to Daverport, Iowa, to take on the Fighting Bees of Saint Ambrose at 7:00 PM ET.
