Chicago, IL - The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) announced its 2025 men's basketball all-conference awards, and four Indiana University South Bend players received recognition for their outstanding seasons.

Nick Mullen – First Team All-CCAC & Defensive Player of the Year

Nick Mullen (Chesterton, IN) earned First Team All-CCAC honors and was named the CCAC Defensive Player of the Year, marking the third time in the past four years an IUSB player has won the award (
Micah Poole in 2024, Sergio Diaz in 2022).

Mullen was a dominant presence on both ends of the floor, averaging 13.9 points per game while leading the CCAC in field goal percentage (.641). He was also the conference leader in blocked shots (68), ranking fourth nationally in that category. Additionally, he finished third in the league in rebounds per game (8.3) and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.434).

Jylen Petty – Second Team All-CCAC

Jylen Petty (South Bend, IN) capped off his IUSB career with Second Team All-CCAC honors after leading the Titans in scoring at 14.3 points per game. Petty was one of the top shooters in the league, finishing second in the CCAC with 79 made three-pointers, which ranks as the seventh-best single-season mark in IUSB history. This is Petty's second All-CCAC honor, having been named honorable mention in 2024.
Petty finished his collegiate career by setting the school record for career three-point field goal percentage (.415).

Quentez Columbus – Honorable Mention All-CCAC

Quentez Columbus (South Bend, IN) earned Honorable Mention All-CCAC honors after a season in which he showcased his playmaking abilities. Columbus averaged 10.0 points per game while finishing second in the conference with 142 assists, the sixth-best single-season total in program history.

Collin Schmidt – CCAC All-Freshmen Team

Collin Schmidt (Plainfield, IN) was named to the CCAC All-Freshmen Team after a strong first year. Schmidt was the second-highest-scoring freshman in conference play, averaging 9.1 points per game, while shooting an impressive .537 from the floor and .396 from three-point range.
The Titans finished the season with 17-12 overall and 14-6 in the CCAC, tied for third place. They also finished ranked #9 in the NAIA North Central ARC, marking the sixth straight season IU South Bend has finished the season ranked in their region.
