Box Score SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A strong all-around effort led the Indiana University South Bend men's basketball team to a convincing 95-74 victory over the University of Windsor for its third straight victory Monday afternoon, Dec. 30. Five players scored in double figures to move the Titans to 11-5 overall and 6-2 inside the Student Activities Center this season while Windsor dipped to 9-10 overall.

Senior guard Myles Simmons led IU South Bend's double-digit scoring efforts with a team-high 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe and hit his only three-pointer. Sophomore Miles Tracy added 16 points and a team-best three blocks while Donyell Meredith II contributed 14 and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile Senior Miguel Mahan registered 12 points and seven rebounds and junior Norell Smith chipped in 10 points.
The scoring went back-and-forth in the first 10 minutes as the scoreboard read 31-31 until IUSB rattled off 23 points in the remainder of the first half, taking a 12-point lead heading into the break.
As Windsor mounted a comeback early in the second stanza, IU South Bend wasted little time to gain the commanding lead again starting with Simmons converting a pair of free-throws. The points sparked a 13-0 IUSB run that spanned nearly four minutes and boosted the lead to 19. The Titans did not waver from there, going up by as many 23.
Sophomore guard Kenny Washington made the most of his time on the floor, adding six points, three steals and three rebounds. Sergio Diaz and Kourtlandt Martin both chipped in eight points, respectively on Monday.
For the game, Indiana University South Bend went 37-for-61 from the floor (60.7 percent) and 6-of-11 from distance (54.5 percent). IUSB was strong at the free throw line, converting 15-of-20 freebies for a 75 percent clip. On the flip side, the Titan defense held the Lancers to 29-of-69 from the floor and 11-of-33 from beyond the three-point line.
IU South Bend held a 35-31 advantage on the glass and dished out 14 assists to Windsor's 16. The Titans forced 22 turnovers and turned the miscues into 28 points, while the IUSB's bench outscored the Lancers' 49-24.
With its three-game homestand concluding Saturday, Jan. 4, Indiana University South Bend welcomes Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe and cross-town rival Holy Cross College at 3 p.m. inside the Student Activities Center.
