SOUTH BEND, IND. – For the fourth straight contest No. 24 Indiana University South Bend women's basketball earned a victory after holding off St. Ambrose 68-60 inside the Student Activities Center on Wednesday evening. With the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win, the Titans improve to 11-1 overall and 5-1 during league play.

Three different Titans scored in double figures including a game-high and season-high 19 from freshman Maddie Gard off 5-of-9 shooting including 9-of-11 from the charity stripe. Senior Kyleigh Kubik and junior Kylie Fehrman hit clutch threes in the fourth quarter to add 10 and 13 points respectively.

Junior Taitlyn Trenshaw and senior Courtney Raymer added a team-high seven rebounds while Trenshaw added a game-high four assists to go along with one of IUSB's eight steals.

As a team, IUSB for the game shot just 40.4 percent from the field, holding the Bees to just a 36.7 clip. The Titans had just 14 turnovers to the SAU's 18 with IUSB scoring eight off turnovers. The Titans scored 26 points in the paint compared to the Bees' 28. For the 11th time this season, the Crimson & Cream scored above 20 plus bench points, notching 40 on the night and improving to 10-1 when scoring above 20.

The Titans continue their homestand on Saturday, Dec. 7, hosting Indiana University Northwest at 1 p.m. inside the Student Activities Center.
