WHITING, Ind. – The Indiana University South Bend volleyball team earned its fifth consecutive victory Tuesday, March 16 after sweeping Calumet College St. Joseph in straight sets in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Titans handled the Crimson Wave by scores of 25-10, 25-11, and 25-12, improving to 8-2 overall.

League Attacker and Defender of the Week
Hannah Marchand fueled the Titans with a game-high 11 kills on 20 attempts, good for a .550 attacking percentage. Senior counterpart

Amber Jacobs tallied 10 and eight kills, respectively.
Sophomore
Whitney Gessinger led the defensive side with a game-high 13 digs while four other Titans registered block assists. CCAC Setter of the Week
McKenzie Powell dished out a game-high 32 assists to go along with nine digs. Senior
Taitlyn Trenshaw also added six digs on Tuesday.
IU South Bend finished with 41 kills off 87 attempts and four errors for a .425 team attacking percentage in three sets. The Titans held a 41-20 kill advantage, 37-20 assist advantage, 48-38 dig advantage and a nine to one service ace advantage.
IU South Bend remains on the road Thursday, March 18 travelling to conference leader Olivet Nazarene (RV) for a 8 p.m. start time in Bourbonnais, Ill.
