SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Indiana University South Bend volleyball earned its second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory and first inside the
Student Activities Center this season on Tuesday, March 2, after sweeping Roosevelt (25-17, 25-18, 25-14) and improving to 2-1 overall and in conference play.

The Titans attacked at their best in the second set with a .405 clip, defeating the Lakers by eight points. During the set, IUSB registered three errors while Roosevelt added five with a .216 attacking percentage. For the night, IUSB attacked at a .303 rate while holding its opponent to just .019.

Hannah Marchand led all players with 13 kills off 29 attempts while junior transfer

Alexis Issette both added double-digits kills of 11 and 10, respectively.

McKenzie Powell dished out a game-high 39 assists and junior counterpart
Courtney Lengacher added 14 digs. Three Titans collected one rejection, including senior
Julie Brown, Powell and Issette.
With the victory IUSB is now 1-1 in South Bend and will remain home on Thursday, March 4 for a 2019 CCAC Tournament championship rematch with the Trinity Christian Trolls. First serve inside the SAC is slated for 7 p.m. Following Thursday, IUSB will hit the road on Saturday, March 6 to play at Cardinal Stritch for a 1 p.m. EST start.
